This wall is made from large pieces of Tennessee field stone and boulders.

This is a field stone wall that is mortared in.
You can see the mortared joints and it is solid, a good 10 – 12 inches thick.
This block is called Heritage Block and as you can see is hollow in the middle. We fill it with gravel and the wall winds up being 2 feet thick and has a foe stone veneer.
